These steel ropes (cables) without external lubrication are load-bearing elements used for stretching masts, towers, suspension roads and protection of overhead transmission lines (lightning protection). Structurally, a single strand steel rope with a point contact of wires in the rope and a 1x19 (1+6+12) construction consists of an organic core (hemp, polypropylene, sisal) and six identical strands.
